Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP)

The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP) will begin accepting applications shortly. Intake of applications will begin at the end of the month on May 30^th 2016. A total of 1900 applications will be accepted under the QIIP, with a maximum of 1330 applicants coming from China, Hong Kong, and Macau. The remaining 570 spots will be available to applicants from the rest of the world.

Applications for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP) will be accepted until February 28^th 2017 or when the application quota is reached, whichever occurs first. Based on experience from previous years, the allocated quota for the QIIP is highly likely to be filled very quickly.

Through the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP), applicants and their immediate family members can obtain permanent residence in Canada by making a risk-free $800,000 CAD investment in support of Quebec’s economy.

The minimum requirements of the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program are:

• A minimum net worth alone or with spouse, all legally acquired, of $1.6 million CAD;
• A minimum of two years of eligible management experience within the last five years;
• Ability to make an investment of $800,000 CAD for a 5-year period with “Investissement Quebec”. The investment is guaranteed to be returned in full after the 5-year period by the Government of Quebec. Financing options are also available. Please contact us for further details;

Once an application for the QIIP is accepted and investment is complete, the applicant receives a Quebec Selection Certificate with further instructions on how to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

The Canadian permanent residence is then obtained without probation or other conditions. The simplicity of a passive investment means that you are not obliged to work, or start a business and create jobs in Canada.
