Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP)

Quebec has announced that it will start accepting applications for a limited time period, from May 30th 2016 till February 28th 2017, with a maximum intake of 1,900 applications, including up to 1,330 applications from China, Hong Kong, and Macao (French speakers with an advanced-intermediate level are excluded from this cap).

This program targets high net worth individuals (having CAD1.6 million) with a minimum of two years’ management experience, and who are willing to make an attractive passive investment (financing option is available) in order to obtain Canadian permanent residency.


The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program offers the following advantages:

1. Risk-Free investment of CAD 800,000 (US$615,000) with the government of Quebec, which will be returned in full after 5 years.
2. All immediate family members can be included in the application: spouse and children under 19 years of age.
3. Enjoy a high quality of life and benefit from the advantages offered to Canadian permanent residents such as access to the health care system and the right to get a free education.
