The Antigua and Barbuda citizenship by investment program which was formed in 2014 grants the opportunity for investors and high net worth individuals to gain citizenship in Antigua & Barbuda  after making an investment in the twin islands. This program was initially created for investors, high net worth individuals and ultra high net worth individuals who are seeking easier travel and mobility around the world.

The Antigua and Barbuda citizenship by investment unit (CIU) had a two year limited time offer which reduced investment amount for the NDF investment option from $250,000 USD to $200,000 for families of four. This offer however has ended on the 1st May 2016 after achieving its goals of attracting more investors to Antigua & Barbuda. Applicants will now no longer be able to apply for this offer; the program will now be accepting applications for the usual investment options for the Antigua and Barbuda citizenship by investment program.

Antigua and Barbuda CIP investment options:
  1. National development fund (NDF)/Charitable donation:  For a family of four, the investor is required to make a US$200,000 contribution to the NDF.This option allows for two of the dependents’ government fees to be waived whether it is children, parents or grandparents. For a family of five or more, the investor is required to make an investment of US$250,000 to the NDF; government fees for three dependents, whether it is children, parents or grandparents, are waived.

  2. Real estate investment: Purchase a property for a minimum of US$400,000.

  3. Establish a business: Start a business in Antigua and Barbuda by investing US$1,500,000.
