Nova Scotia has launched its New Business Immigration Streams; the entrepreneur and the graduate entrepreneur streams, to attract international entrepreneurs and retain the ones who have graduated from universities and colleges in Nova Scotia in order to improve the province’s economy. These immigration streams open the way for qualified individuals to obtain permanent residency in Canada and enjoy the benefits offered.
Interested applicants are required to fill a free application online "Expression of Interest" which shows their interest in immigrating to Canada through NSNP, it’s an easy process that facilitates the selection of qualified candidates as it shows them their ranking within a pool of candidates where they receive an "Invitation to Apply" if eligible.
Under the Entrepreneur stream, applicants are granted work permit for one year allowing them to operate their business. They can ask for nomination and apply for permanent residency. Under the graduate entrepreneur stream, candidates are granted permanent residency once they are approved.
