St. Kitts and Nevis signed a full visa waiver agreement with African Nation São Tomé and Principe.

With the new signing with São Tomé and Principe, St. Kitts and Nevis passport now allow visa-free or visa upon arrival access to 161 countries worldwide.

An agreement has been signed between the St Kitts and Nevis and São Tomé and Príncipe, which will permit visa-free travel between the two nations. This visa-waiver agreement was signed through high representatives of both countries in New York on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

St Kitts and Nevis is working to expand the list of countries which its citizens and passport holders can enjoy visa-free travel to. St Kitts and Nevis is working towards strengthening its diplomatic ties worldwide, and signing a major visa-waiver agreement with São Tomé and Príncipe is a step forward. 

A few months ago, Foreign Minister Mark Brantley travelled to Belgrade, Serbia and signed visa waiver agreements with Palestine and with African Nations Burkina Faso and Gabon. Those signings brought   St. Kitts and Nevis’ passports to accessing 160 countries worldwide visa-free or visa upon arrival.

In Serbia, Brantley also started discussions on visa waiver arrangements with the Foreign Minister of São Tomé, and Principe HE Edite do Ramos da Costa Ten Jua.

With the new signing with São Tomé and Principe, St Kitts and Nevis passport now allow visa-free or visa upon arrival access to 161 countries worldwide.

St Kitts and Nevis’s CBI program is legally entrenched in law, and since local law does not contain any restrictions on holding dual nationality, obtaining second citizenship through investment in the country is a confidential process.
