Antigua and Barbuda has signed an agreement on mutual abolition of visas between Antigua and Barbuda and Ukraine:

Antigua and Barbuda has signed a visa-free agreement with Ukraine on Monday February 5th 2018,the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States said Tuesday on Facebook.

The agreement was signed by the Antigua and Barbuda's Ambassador to the U.S. Ronald Sanders and the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valery Chaly.

The Ukrainian ambassador expressed gratitude to his counterpart from Antigua and Barbuda for the support of Ukraine's initiatives within the framework of the UN, in particular, regarding the protection of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the status of the occupied territory of Crimea.

The deal envisages that citizens of Antigua and Barbuda and Ukraine could travel through the territory of each other without a visa for a stay in these countries for the term not more than 90 days in 180 days.

While commenting on the agreement, Chaly said that the signing of the deal is an evidence of establishing an active political dialogue and interaction between Ukraine and Antigua and Barbuda.

The visa-free agreement will come into the force after the ratification by the parliaments of the two countries.

Currently, Antigua and Barbuda has the visa-free mechanism with 135 countries around the globe and holds talks on the facilitation of the visa regime with other states.
