Federal Immigrant Investor Program (FIIP)

Note: This program was terminated on June 19, 2014.  A new federal investor program, known as the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital (IIVC) Pilot Program has since been launched.

The Canadian Immigrant Investor Program was created by the federal government of Canada to promote economic development and employment in Canada by attracting people with solid managerial skills. It enabled qualified investors and their families to obtain permanent resident status in Canada.
