The (EB-5) Regional Center Program is set to expire on January 19, 2018. There has recently been proposed legislation to extend the EB-5 Program to February 16th 2018 . We will provide an update as soon as the CR has passed and been signed.

We are pleased to announce that the (EB-5) Immigrant Investor Program has been extended, albeit for just a short time, to January 19, 2018 , with the minimum required investment amount remaining at $500,000. Both the House and Senate passed a stopgap spending bill which will avert a government shutdown through January 19, 2018.

On December 13, 2017, the House Appropriations Committee introduced a Continuing Resolution that would for the short term extend federal funding and maintain current federal operations (currently authorized to December 22) until January 19, 2018. Although the provisions do not state EB-5per se, it is highly possible that EB-5 will hitchhike the CR and get another short extension to next year.

As expected on Thursday December 7 , 2017 the Congress voted to extend federal funding and many government programs, including EB-5 program . Both the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate passed a Continuing Resolution that will leave the EB-5 Regional Center Program operational – and without changes to its provisions – through December 22 , 2017.

The U.S. House of Representatives Appropriations Committee has introduced a Continuing Resolution (CR), to extend current funding for the U.S. government. A Continuing Resolution (CR) has been filed as of last Saturday, December 3, 2017, to serve as a vehicle to extend government operations as well as the EB-5 Regional Center Program, to December 22, 2017. The CR may be voted on Thursday of this week. There is also talk of doing another short-term continuing resolution into January of 2018, b

The EB-5 Regional Center Program is officially extended until December 8, 2017. The extension was expected after the summer recess due to other congressional priorities.
