The world's first citizenship by investment program in St Kitts and Nevis has launched a new fund to boost investment in the prospering Caribbean nation. The U.S. Congress passed a spending bill early Friday March 23 , 2018 that will extend for another six months the controversial EB-5 immigration visa program which gives foreigners a path to U.S. Green Card and citizenship in exchange for a minimum investment of USD 500,000 in a job-creating project. Nova Scotia conducted a new draw under its Expression of Interest system, including 22 invitations issued through its new Express Entry Pathway. Nova Scotia’s entrepreneur stream said it issued 22 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to Express Entry candidates . The lowest-ranked Express Entry candidate invited had a ranking score under Nova Scotia’s Entrepreneur stream Expression of Interest (EOI) system of 100.
